Rules & Regulation

Enrollment Number:

  1. The applicant shall follow the application process and other rules and regulations while enrolling for any types of YCB certification and processing the application.
  2. On successful enrolment, the candidate will be provided a unique enrolment number which will be valid for life time and will be reference for any future requirement.
  3. Acceptance of application is subject to scrutiny of the documents submitted along with the application form. We shall complete the scrutiny process within 7 working days. In case of any gap/ discrepancy, the same shall be intimated to the candidate through mail/ message.

 

Rejection of application:

The application can be cancelled under following circumstances

  1. If the applicant does not provide the required information within 7 working days from the date of intimation to the applicant;
  2. The application shall be rejected, if it is found that the information provided is incorrect.
  3. The applicant, whose certificate was cancelled / application rejected because of violation of terms & conditions and/or malpractice during exam shall not be eligible to apply.


Cancellation / suspension / debarment from certification of YCB Yoga Professional

  1. If the candidate is found engaged in malpractice in the examination, his/her application shall be rejected.
  2.  If the given information in the application form is found incorrect at any point of time.
  3.  The candidate shall be debarred /suspended from appearing in the certification examination of Yoga Professionals for 3 years.
  4. If any evidence of misconduct is observed during examination the candidate will not be allowed to appear for 3 years in any of the assessment for certification for Yoga Professionals conducted under YCB.
    Appearing in the Offline Assessment/Examination
  5.  The candidate shall have to appear for theory and practical exam at the allocated exam centre well before the scheduled time preferably one hour before.
  6.  The candidate shall not be allowed if he/she reached the centre after 15 minutes from the scheduled time.
  7. Requests for change of location/ date by the candidate after issuance of admit card will generally not be considered. In exceptional cases, PrCB may consider the request on merit basis and the PrCB will exercise discretion in such cases.
  8. The candidate will be issued admit cards to the candidate at least one week in advance.
  9. The candidate can download the admit card from his/ her login ID.
  10. If the candidate does not receive admit card one week before, he/she has to contact the PrCB.
  11. The candidate shall carry admit card and valid Government issued Photo ID card in original like Aadhaar / PAN Card / Voter ID Card / Driving License / Passport, pen, etc to appear in the exam.

 

APPEAR IN ONLINE EXAM
Following is required for Exam:

  1. Computer / Laptop with Battery Backup and attached Mic & Web-Camera
  2. Uninterrupted Internet connectivity with 1 MBPS speed
  3. Separate Cabin / Room with sufficient light
  4. Yoga Mat placed 5 feet from the Laptop / Computer in Horizontal position for Practical Exam
  5. Candidate receives an email on registered email-id with date and time slot to appear in Theory and Practical exam and URL to start the exam.
  6. Both candidate and computer screen are monitored and all activities off and on screen are recorded. Any suspicious activity shall have an adverse impact on result.
  7. In case of any instruction from proctor, candidates should follow the same and ensure only fair practice during the entire exam. All activities during the exam are recorded.
  8. Any violation of instructions can be marked as “Red Flagged” which means that the exam can be termed as invalid.
  9. Candidate is not provided with any breaks during the exam.
  10. A candidate must carry a government issued valid photo ID card in original like Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Voter ID Card / Driving License / Passport / Social Card etc.
  11. Before starting the exam, close all other browsers, chat windows, screen-saver etc.
  12. Make sure there is sufficient light on your face.
  13. Should be facing the webcam and looking into the computer screen only during the entire duration of the exam.
  14. Do not press the ‘F5’ key during the entire exam.
  15. After the exam has started, toggling between the windows is not allowed for any reason. Switching windows for any reason will terminate the exam.
  16. Candidate face should not be covered/ blocked by any object like hands, cap, goggles etc. else the same shall be recorded as a red flag for ‘face not visible’.
  17. Do not move away from the test window at any point of time as the same shall also be recorded as a ‘red flag’.
  18. Do not involve any other person for any support or help during the exam.
  19. A candidate is not allowed to use mobile phones, calculators or other devices during the exam.
  20. Candidate is not allowed to speak out the questions.

 

Result Declaration
• Result of the exam shall be declared within 30 days from conduct of exam.
• Candidate can view the result in his dashboard. The candidate can view and download his/ her result.


COMMUNICATION / ENQUIRY PROCESS
• Candidates can communicate with the PrCB for all types of queries related to certification, examination, admit card, result declaration, certificate etc.
